I had been wanting to drastically cut down on alcohol for quite some time, but I found it difficult to find truly enjoyable alternatives. That changed when I discovered n°1 (White Beet Hop Szechuan) and n°4 (Red Beet Lavender Juniper) at A Food Affair in Ghent. I was so enthusiastic that I ordered them from Feral the very next day.
Both drinks are, for me, perfect alternatives to wine, whether as an aperitif or paired with food. What really stands out is that they are not sweet at all (which is often the case with non-alcoholic wines), they offer a beautifully layered flavour profile, and they finish with a subtly spicy aftertaste that lingers. This makes them exciting and refined, and absolutely not a “compromise drink”.
I’m a fan and very much looking forward to discovering the other varieties as well. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy consciously without alcohol, but with plenty of character.
Non sapevo cosa aspettarmi e sono rimasta piacevolmente colpita ! Ho preso una box con N.1 e N.5 . Il mio preferito sicuramente N.5 …che ricomprerò ! Il N.1 troppo dolce per i miei gusti , del N.5 ho apprezzato l’assenza di zucchero ( per me fondamentale) . Complimenti !

This was an incredible surprise! They are flavoursome and very tasty. They are perfect (and sometimes better) accompaniment to food than some wine and non-alcoholic option (including sofa drinks). Will definitively buy again

These drinks by Feral are not wines at all but they have a lot of various notes in the taste and perfectly pair with food! Highly recommend to try

Cari Ferals, i vostri vini sono una vera delizia! Per la nostra cena di Natale, tre generazioni di amanti del vino hanno avuto il piacere di gustare il vostro No. 1 e il Rosé No. 5. È stata un'esperienza di gusto incredibile, soprattutto il finale speziato del No. 1. Wow!! Il Rosé, leggero, vivace e frizzante, non lascia nulla a desiderare ed è perfetto per brindare e gustare. Buona l'idea e l'abbinamento delle botaniche, ma non convince fino in fondo. Dopo averli assaggiati entrambi, il nr. 1 batte il Rosè, quest'ultimo trovato un po' troppo acido e di bollicina debole. Piacevole il pepe che si averte nel nr. 1. Sarei curioso di provare quelli con la barbabietola rossa, ma forse con un po' di sconto...
An aperitif, a glass of „wine“ in the evening – both are perfect for a wonderful get-together with friends and family – whom I still need to convince, though 😉😊. There couldn't be a better start to a year without alcohol. Thanks for this experience.
Ungewöhnliche Aromen die Lust auf mehr machen! Endlich ein alkoholfreie Alternativen die nicht süß sind und zu vielem passen und auch gut „einfach nur so“ getrunken werden können.
L'avevo comprato perché una parente, dovendo allattare, non poteva bere alcolici.
Essendo veneto appena portato in tavola ha creato molto scetticismo, ma alla fine in molti hanno voluto assaggiarlo.
Forse non era la bevanda adatta per un pranzo di Natale, ma fosse un po' più acido lo verrei in qualsiasi situazione, mentre questo lo accosterei più al pesce o ad un aperitivo. Comunque molto buono e profumato!

Haven't tasted all Ferals yet, but what I already tried is amazing! It is really what I was looking for: surprising, yummy, non-alcoholic and definitely thrilling in pairing with dishes.
My favorite of the available Feral drinks. This is truly refreshing and complex. If you enjoy a complex drink that pairs well with food or even can be drank alone, give this a try. I get notes of spice and lychee. It is so good.
So far have tasted only number 1 but it was excellent, a bit of tanginess, a few different layers of flavour that make it a complex drink. Much much better than alcohol free wines I have tasted before. I shared my bottle with people who only drink AF and they agreed with me.
