Walking among the Dolomites, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2009, is an experience of pure beauty and sensory peace. This is a place of legends: you'll only need to decide whether to be captivated by the story of King Laurin - who, out of love for his daughter, decreed that the Catinaccio should turn pink at sunrise and sunset - or by the tales of climbers who pioneered the era of acrobatic mountaineering on these walls. June is also a wonderful month, ideal for foraging, an activity we will have the pleasure of experiencing with a top expert in the field.
Our journey will take place in Val di Fassa, in the presence of the majestic Torri del Vajolet, a splendid view of the eastern wall of the Catinaccio. No special athletic preparation is required; we won't do climbing or via ferrata. Instead, we will walk calmly, taking approximately 4 hours to cover around 550 meters of elevation gain, reaching the Rifugio Vajolet (2,243m a.s.l.).
